Following last year’s relaunch of his acclaimed Subliminal Records imprint, famed DJ/producer Erick Morillo unveils Subliminal Sessions, a weekly radio program hosted by Morillo himself, launching March 21. Airing Tuesdays at 8PM EST with rebroadcasts on Thursdays at 9AM EST and Saturdays at 6PM EST on SiriusXM’s Electric Area, Subliminal Sessions will serve as a weekly destination for the hottest new tracks and classic throwbacks in house and techno, in addition to featuring interviews with the industry’s most respected names.
Of the launch, Morillo says, “It’s an honor to now be part of the SiriusXM family and have my new show Subliminal Sessions be part of their weekly line up. You can plan on hearing the best in house, tech house, techno and deep house in what is, in my opinion, the perfect extension of the Subliminal brand. I could not be more excited.”
With his interest in DJing sparked at an early age, superstar producer and artist Erick Morillo stands as a platinum-selling artist with globally chart-topping releases including “Reach,” “Believe,” “Do What You Want” and “I Feel Love.” Raised on an eclectic palate of musical influences including Latin, reggae and hip-hop, Morillo’s sonic upbringing lent a hand with his 90s dance hit “I Like To Move It” under the moniker Reel 2 Real, which was featured in the popular Madagascar movie franchise. Having recently relaunched his label Subliminal, Morillo has continuously released a bevy of new material, including collaborations with producers Eli & Fur, Junolarc and Eddie Thoneick, vocalists Angel Taylor, Ora Solar and more.
