Coming off a busy summer full of appearances at festivals and nightclubs around the world, French DJ/producer Klingande gives fans a peek at what the past few months entailed in his latest video. Documenting international travel, performances, and all around good times, the artist’s tour aftermovie is just as blissful and carefree as the summer itself.
Set to Klingande’s own “Somewhere New,” the video takes viewers on a journey from the stages of Tomorrowland in Belgium to Ushuaïa in Ibiza, stopping along the way to take in the breathtaking views of Sweden’s pristine shores or snap a picture with fans. Like the aftermovie, the track’s own accompanying video, shot live and streamed via Facebook in September, is part of Klingande’s brilliantly curated body of audiovisual work that perfectly complements his bright and uplifting musical style.
Born Cédric Steinmyller, Klingande rose to prominence with “Jubel” in 2013, amassing over 147 million views on YouTube, 20 million plays on SoundCloud and 71 million on Spotify to date. Critical acclaim came pouring in from industry heavyweights such as Kygo, Bakermat, Robin Schulz and Klangkarussel, and hasn’t slowed since.
