After a wildly successful first event in the road to #Ozmozis200, which saw the likes of Dutch legend Eelke Kleijn and the UK’s Danny Howells, Ozmozis is already gearing up for another night of deep, progressive house music. On Friday, November 4, Ozmozis calls upon old and new friends to curate the journey, welcoming Nick Warren, Marc Romboy and Patrice Bäumel, with local support from Aleksandar Kojic.
Nick Warren has been in the game longer than most and thanks to Ozmozis, Toronto has had the opportunity to catch this legend many times throughout the past few years. This UK-native has an instinct behind the decks that many DJ-Producers only hope to achieve. His mix of driving percussion and uplifting melody drench audiences in a sound that is uniquely his own! Having compiled a plethora of albums for the iconic “Global Underground” series, Nick Warren is a legend that all music-lovers should take the opportunity to witness firsthand.
Joining Nick Warren will be Germany’s techno titan Marc Romboy, as he makes his Ozmozis debut. The Systematic Recordings’ label boss has been at the forefront of Techno since the early 90’s with a vast, diverse catalogue of music backing him. A very exciting booking indeed, as the highly anticipated wait for Marc Romboy will finally be satisfied on November 4!
Just when you thought the night couldn’t get any more stacked, Dutch DJ-Producer and overall music extraordinaire Patrice Bäumel makes the bill. The long-running resident at Amsterdam’s former Trouw nightclub calls his special brew of sound “techno for grown-ups”. Bäumel brings an infectious energy to his productions and sets, keeping dance floors moving with ease. Join us at NEST on Friday, November 4 as we continue our road to #Ozmozis200!
